MX3D Artlab – Code of Conduct

MX3D Artlab is the creative spinoff of MX3D B.V. and operates at the intersection of art, design, technology, and culture. While our work is experimental and expressive by nature, we are firmly committed to ethical, responsible, and sustainable conduct in all our activities.

This Code of Conduct sets out the values, principles, and expectations that apply to everyone involved in MX3D Artlab, including collaborators, artists, designers, partners, suppliers, and service providers (“Partners”).

Ethical Conduct

Partners of MX3D Artlab shall conduct their activities with honesty, integrity, and transparency. We expect professional behaviour, mutual respect, and fair dealing in all collaborations and business relationships.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Partners must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations in the countries where they operate, including but not limited to labor, safety, environmental, intellectual property, and data protection laws.

Human Rights and Fair Working Conditions

MX3D Artlab is committed to respecting human rights. Partners shall:

Non-Discrimination, Diversity and Inclusion

MX3D Artlab values diversity and creative freedom. Partners shall provide equal opportunities and must not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic.

Harassment, intimidation, or abusive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

Health and Safety

Partners must maintain safe working environments and take appropriate measures to prevent accidents, injuries, and health risks, particularly in workshops, production environments, exhibitions, and public installations.

Environmental Responsibility

MX3D Artlab encourages environmentally responsible practices. Partners shall:

Anti-Corruption and Fair Competition

Partners shall not engage in bribery, corruption, fraud, or any other unethical business practices. All interactions must be conducted fairly and transparently.

Privacy and Data Protection

Partners must respect privacy and protect the personal data of artists, collaborators, visitors, clients, and other stakeholders. All Personal Data must be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR where applicable.

Intellectual Property and Creative Rights

MX3D Artlab respects intellectual property and creative ownership. Partners must:

Quality, Safety, and Public Responsibility

Partners shall deliver work, products, and services that meet agreed quality and safety standards and are appropriate for their intended artistic, cultural, or public use.

Special care must be taken for works displayed in public or semi-public spaces.

Responsible Supply Chain

Where applicable, Partners are encouraged to promote responsible, ethical, and sustainable practices within their own supply chains and to apply standards similar to those set out in this Code of Conduct.

Reporting Concerns or Violations

If a Partner becomes aware of conduct that may violate this Code, they are encouraged to report it promptly to MX3D Artlab or MX3D B.V. via the appropriate contact channel.

Reports will be handled confidentially and without retaliation.

Consequences of Non-Compliance

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in corrective measures. In serious or repeated cases, MX3D Artlab and/or MX3D B.V. may suspend or terminate the collaboration or business relationship.
